What is the final major project?
What is its purpose?
the purpose is to show our creativity and the skills and
techniques we have learnt during this course.
What should it contain?
it should contain something to do with time and space.
What do you hope to produce?
i hope to produce a 10 minute short film about time travel where someone goes through time and has an adventure through time or something like that.

evaluation of documentary
i made a five minute documentary about parkour. i went around
plymouth filming my friends and my Parkour group the solace
runners. i ask them a bunch of questions and got them to
answer them.
well i couldnt think of what gets up my nose so i just asked
if i could do it on parkour. i chose parkour because i have
been doing parkour for two years.
to make this documentary i used a hitachi full HD x10
optical zoom a Tri-pod adobe premiere pro memory
stick and a microphone
i didnt need to carry out any information as i already
knew everything about parkour

dvd covers
This is the DVD cover for IRON MAN.
i particularly like this cover because you have the main character in big looking out of the cover and then you have the rest of the actors fairly smaller. i also like how they have placed one of the characters standing up looking in front of him with the film description placed next to him.
this is the DVD cover for the dark knight.
what i like about this cover is that you have a burnt batman logo in the background with batman standing in front of it. another thing i like is you have the joker faces away from the camera with all the description next to him.
this is the DVD for Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back.
what i like about this cover is that it shows every main character from the film. i also like how it shows some scenes from the film and the fact that Darth Vader is standing at the top of the stairs with the description next to him.

advertising
ideas generation.

The process of creating, developing, and communicating ideas which are abstract, concrete, or visual. The process includes the process of constructing through the idea, innovating the concept, developing the process, and bringing the concept to reality.
shock tactics
Shock advertising or Shockvertising is a type of advertising generally regarded as one that “deliberately, rather than inadvertently, startles and offends its audience by violating norms for social values and personal ideals.” [1] It is the employment in advertising or public relations of "graphic imagery and blunt slogans to highlight"[2] a public policy issue, goods, or services. Shock advertising is designed principally to break through the advertising “clutter” to capture attention and create buzz, and also to attract an audience to a certain brand or bring awareness to a certain public service issue, health issue, or cause (e.g., urging drivers to use their seatbelts, promoting STD prevention, bringing awareness of racism and other injustices, or discouraging smoking among teens).[3]
star vechiles
A star vehicle has historically been a movie, play, TV series, or other production whose primary purpose, besides turning a profit, is to enhance someone's career. Vehicles are most commonly produced when a young or inexperienced actor has signed a long-term contract with a major studio. By showcasing the actor's talents, the vehicle is an attempt at creating a bankable star.
audience
An audience is a group of people who participate in a show or encounter a work of art, literature (in which they are called "readers"), theatre, music (in which they are called "listeners"), video games (in which they are called "players"), oracademics in any medium. Audience members participate in different ways in different kinds of art; some events invite overt audience participation and others allowing only modest clapping and criticism and reception

Using paper as a material
todays assignment was paper faces.
In the assignment we had to use paper to make a short animation of a faces. just like south park we put a black piece of A2 paper on the table and use some card paper to create a face.
this is the face i used for my animation.
we went up to the ERC room and took out a camera and went back to the classroom. once we figured out what we wanted our guy to do we then set about making it happen. we took a picture of the face then moved his mouth and eyes and took a picture for every movement the face made.
once we had finished making the animation we then uploaded the pictures into adobe premier pro CS5.5 and added the music selected by the teacher. after the editing was done and the video was finished we exported it and saved it.

Todays assignment was called Ink Wallpaper portraits.
In this assignment we had to draw portraits of famous artists on a long piece of wallpaper.
And to do this we got given a paintbrush that had its wooden end sharpened and we where told to draw portraits using a stick and some black ink.

Once we finished the pictures and the wallpaper we then took the pictures we took of them and had to import them into adobe premiere and make a short animation of the face being made.

The Big Draw
todays assignment was called group work painting
in this assignment we had to work as a group to produce a large scale picture from a smaller picture that we got from the library.
so first we went to the library and picked a famous artist. we decided to go with andy warhol. we found a book of his work and looked through it. we then found a picture of a black and white coke bottle and photocopied it out of the book and went on up to the class room.
we then got a ruler and a pencil and started measuring out all of the sizes for the bottle. once we finished with the measurements we started drawing out the picture
after drawing all the shading ,writing and the lines we went onto label all the parts of the picture that are black. and once we finished the labels. we then started to paint the whole picture.
we then finished the painting and use a marker pen to touch up the edges and correct mistakes.
and here is our final painting.
the original picture was created by andy warhol and this was one a four coca cola art work made from 1961 and 1962.
